BeforeItBills is a subscription tracker that reads the renewal emails already sitting in your inbox and warns you seven days before any recurring charge hits. Enough time to cancel, pause, or just see it coming.

The average person carries 12 active subscriptions and can name about 4 of them.
You signed up once, months ago. The card has been quietly charged ever since.
$4.99 here, $9.99 there. Each one too small to notice, together too big to ignore.
A bank notification means the money is already gone. The useful warning is the one that arrives before.
Connect your inbox and BeforeItBills pulls out every recurring charge it can find, then lines them up for review. Swipe right to confirm, left to dismiss — the list is yours, not an algorithm's guess.

Subscriptions and bills live in one list, sorted by whatever is due next. Seven days before anything renews, your phone tells you — while there's still time to do something about it.
Monthly burn, cash flow, a running forecast. The Insights tab turns your recurring spend into charts you can read in the time it takes the kettle to boil. Visual, not noisy.

Pick Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Yahoo or any IMAP server. Read-only access — the app can never send, delete or change anything.
Every recurring charge it detects gets lined up for you. Swipe to confirm or dismiss each one.
From that point on, you get a warning seven days before anything bills you. That's the whole job.

OAuth grants read permission only. The app can never send, delete, or modify your emails — the permission to do so simply doesn't exist.
The engine scores renewal language: 'subscription', 'renews on', 'next billing date', 'cancel anytime'. Personal email falls below the detection threshold and is never kept.
Your OAuth tokens are encrypted before they reach the database. Never stored in plain text, never written to logs.
Scanning runs server-side against your read-only token. Email content is processed and discarded — only the detected subscriptions are stored.
Is my data safe?
The app uses read-only OAuth access and never stores passwords or email content. Tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and only the detected subscriptions are saved.
Which email providers work?
Gmail, Outlook and Hotmail, iCloud Mail, Yahoo, and any custom IMAP server — Fastmail, self-hosted, you name it.
How accurate is the detection?
The engine recognizes renewal emails from over 500 services, flags unusual amounts, and asks you to confirm every match — so nothing lands on your list without your say-so.
Is it free?
Yes — BeforeItBills is free to download on the App Store.
Where do I get it?
On the App Store, right now. The download is free and you'll see your full subscription list about two minutes after connecting your inbox.
Do I need to connect my bank account?
No. BeforeItBills tracks subscriptions without a bank account or card connection — it works entirely from the renewal emails in your inbox, so it works in any country, with any bank.
Free on the App Store. Connect your inbox and see every subscription you’re paying for in about two minutes.
