How to cancel Notion

Notion doesn't have a 'cancel' button as such — you downgrade the workspace to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted, but Free has limits the paid plan didn't.

Step-by-step

Open Notion and go to Settings & members in the sidebar.
Select Billing (workspace admins only).
Click Change plan and pick Free.
Confirm the downgrade.

The paid plan runs out its billed period, then the workspace switches to Free. Pages and content remain; guest limits and version history windows shrink.

Worth knowing

Annual plans don't refund the unused months on downgrade — time it near your renewal date.
