How to cancel Max (HBO)
Max (formerly HBO Max) is sold direct, through app stores, and through TV/internet providers — and you must cancel wherever you signed up. The 'Subscription' section of your Max account names your billing source.

- Check the billing source shown there.
- Billed by Max directly: click Manage subscription → Cancel subscription and confirm.

- Billed through a provider (Comcast, DirecTV, etc.): cancel in that provider's account portal.
