How to cancel HubSpot
HubSpot paid plans (Starter and up) are contracts: monthly plans cancel from account settings, but annual plans auto-renew and require notice before the renewal date — check your contract terms first.
Quick answer
app.hubspot.com — log in and follow the steps below. Cancelling takes about five minutes.
Step-by-step
- Open Settings → Account & Billing → Products & add-ons.
- Monthly plans: find the subscription and follow Cancel subscription / disable auto-renew.
- Annual plans: review your renewal date under Billing, then submit the cancellation through the same page or your CSM before the notice window closes.
- Export contacts and data (Settings → Import & Export) before the term ends.
What happens after you cancel
The portal drops to free CRM tools at term end. Contacts and core CRM data remain on the free tier.
Worth knowing
- HubSpot annual contracts are paid up front or in installments and are generally non-refundable mid-term — the cancellation stops the *renewal*, not the current term.
What the charge looks like
HubSpot typically bills $18–$2000 per month, and its renewal emails come from hubspot.com. BeforeItBills detects those emails automatically and warns you 7 days before each charge — so the next renewal never sneaks past you.
