How to cancel Figma

Figma bills per editor seat, so 'cancelling' means downgrading the team to Starter (free) or removing paid seats. Only team admins can do it.

Step-by-step

1. Open your team in Figma and click the team name → Settings.
2. Go to the Billing tab.
3. Choose Change plan → downgrade to Starter, or remove individual paid seats under Members.
4. Confirm — the change applies at the end of the billing cycle.

What happens after you cancel

Files stay, but Starter limits you to 3 design files per project and fewer pages — archive or move what you need first.

Worth knowing

• Annual seats already paid are non-refundable; the downgrade takes effect at renewal.
• Watch for seat creep: inviting someone as an editor mid-cycle adds a prorated charge automatically.
