How to cancel Apple subscriptions (App Store)
Anything billed by Apple — iCloud+, Apple One, Apple Music, plus every app that sold you a subscription through the App Store — cancels from one screen on your iPhone. This is the single most useful cancel flow to know.
Quick answer
apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions — log in and follow the steps below. Cancelling takes about five minutes.
Step-by-step
- On iPhone/iPad: open Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- You'll see every active and recently expired App Store subscription in one list.
- Tap the one to end → Cancel Subscription → confirm.
- On a computer: open the App Store app (Mac) → your name → Account Settings → Subscriptions, or use the link above.
What happens after you cancel
The subscription runs to the end of its billing period. It stays visible (greyed out) in the list for a while in case you want to resubscribe.
Worth knowing
- Refunds for Apple-billed charges are requested at reportaproblem.apple.com — accidental renewals are often refunded.
- Charges appear as 'APPLE.COM/BILL' on statements, which hides *which* app charged you — your billing emails (and BeforeItBills) can tell them apart.
What the charge looks like
Apple subscriptions (App Store) typically bills $0.99–$150 per month, and its renewal emails come from apple.com. BeforeItBills detects those emails automatically and warns you 7 days before each charge — so the next renewal never sneaks past you.
Stop finding out after the charge.
BeforeItBills scans your inbox and warns you 7 days before any subscription bills you. No bank connection — free on iOS.
