How to cancel Airtable
Airtable bills per workspace, per seat. Cancelling means downgrading the workspace to the Free plan from the workspace's billing settings.
Quick answer
airtable.com/workspaces — log in and follow the steps below. Cancelling takes about five minutes.
Step-by-step
- Open airtable.com/workspaces and pick the paid workspace.
- Click the workspace settings icon → Billing.
- Choose Downgrade to the Free plan and confirm.
- Repeat for each paid workspace — they bill independently.
What happens after you cancel
Bases stay, but Free limits records per base and strips automations down — large bases become read-mostly until trimmed.
Worth knowing
- If your records exceed Free limits, the base isn't deleted — you just can't add rows until you're under the cap.
What the charge looks like
Airtable typically bills $10–$200 per month, and its renewal emails come from airtable.com. BeforeItBills detects those emails automatically and warns you 7 days before each charge — so the next renewal never sneaks past you.
